How will you spend Thanksgiving?

We will have my family here with us. It is a special time, esp. the last couple years. Our one holiday with one of my nephews. He spends Christmas with his Mom. So, Thanksgiving is ours. It is nice when we can all be together, even though there are only 9 of us.

Will you try to do the traditional meal or do you get to invent another way to celebrate?

I am getting all Betty Crocker like, and am organizing a Thanksgiving pot luck with close friends American and non-American alike. It's two of my friends first Thanksgiving, and I am super excited and super anxious about it. We are doing Thanksgiving on Sat. night since its not a recognized holiday in Korea anywhere other than the embassy. :) I am going in search of baking tools and ingredients tomorrow since I have found an oven and I will be making my first turkey ever!

I can't quite figure out my oven, I seem to overcook and dry out everything. I blame it on the temperature conversions from Fahrenheit to Celsius. It does have a rotisserie though (Not that I have a clue in how to use it). I'm not completely sure yet, but I spotted a Ponderosa in Dubai that is looking better every day. Anyone hitting any doorbusters?
